As a standard member you can receive up to five hours of personal counseling from our consultants, and up to half an hour personal assistance from one of our lawyers/trainee lawyers.
Our lawyers and consultants are experts on the Norwegian Tenancy Act and can assist you in all rent-related questions. We offer counseling and assistance before you sign your rental contract, during the tenancy, and in connection with relocation/rehousing. Our lawyers have an in-depth expertise and experience within all areas of law related to the Tenancy Act. As a member you can receive counseling from our legal consultants. In addition, LBF has two lawyers and one trainee lawyer hat perform legal work for members. The LBF-lawyers plea a number of cases in the Norwegian Court of Law on a yearly basis.
As a member you can log on to our webpage and access different e-services. In addition, you can use our legal consultants.
Price:
A membership costs NOK 440 a year and is valid for 12 months. When the membership comes to an end, you are responsible for canceling the subscription. The membership will otherwise be renewed automatically. You can cancel your membership by using the webpage or contact us by phone or email.

Standard - discounted rate is the same membership type as Standard but at a lower price. You can choose this membership if you living in municipal rental housing / housing foundations, receive housing benefit, social security benefits, work assessment allowance (AAP), or social assistance is your primary source of income. The Tenants' Association may ask you to document this before you receive assistance.
Standard - discounted rate gives you full access to our website with (+)articles, downloadable materials, newsletters, access to webinars, events, affordable mold analysis, and legal advice. As a member, you can participate in the annual meeting and support our housing policy work for a better and safer rental sector.
Legal Assistance You get up to ten hours of advice from our legal consultants per year, and up to one hour from a lawyer/trainee lawyer within certain case areas, and in connection with the conclusion of a lawyer assignment.
Our staff are experts in the Tenancy Act and assist you with all types of questions related to your tenancy. We have broad competence and experience in all legal areas of tenancy law. Our lawyers annually handle a number of cases in the courts.
Please note that during periods with many inquiries, there may be some waiting time to receive advice from our caseworkers.

As a business member you can receive up to 1,5 hours of personal counseling from one of our lawyers/trainee lawyers.
LBF’s lawyers and trainee lawyers assist small and medium-sized businesses in all tenancy-related questions. We offer counseling and assistance before you sign your rental contract, during the tenancy, and in connection with relocation/rehousing. Our lawyers have an in-depth expertise and experience within all areas of law related to the Tenancy Act. Our business members rent kiosks, offices, shop premises, embassies etc.

Price:
A business membership costs NOK 2000 a year and is valid for 12 months. When the membership comes to an end, you are responsible for canceling the subscription. If not, the membership will be renewed automatically, and will then cost 1000 NOK a year. You can cancel your membership by using the webpage or contact us by phone or email.
With an LkL membership, you become a member of the Tenants' Association's Local Chapter for municipal tenants in Oslo. You get full access to all our website content with (+)articles, downloadable materials, newsletters, and access to webinars. As a member of the local chapter, you receive legal advice and guidance on issues related to more housing social matters (application for changing municipal housing, appealing decisions, applying for housing support, assistance in applying for external housing environment grants, and similar questions). You can participate in the annual meeting and other events, and you support our work for a better and safer rental sector.
